It was painful…

Customers began complaining about delays, and my family grew concerned.

My wife begged me to go and visit the hospital, At first i did not want to go but my Wife No deh Hear that one. 

So I decided to listen to my wife’s advice and visit the hospital for a checkup.

The doctor confirmed to me that I had TYPE 2 Diabetes.

I won’t lie, the thing shock me ooo!!

Many Many thoughts and unanswered questions were going through my mind.

The doctor said that i have the risk of;

• Blindness
• Heart attacks
• Amputation
• Poor sexual performance

so you mean you people will cut my leg?

God forbid is what i said 

But you see that poor sex performance is the one that scared me pass, because i’m always agile in the bedroom. 

But since this things started happening, i just turn to one minute man.

I couldn’t believe it. I thought about my family, my work, and my future.

The thought of losing my leg or not being able to care for my family Scared me too.

The doctor gave me a food plan and medications, even insulin shots.

But after one year, my condition only got worse:

• My injured leg showed no sign of healing.
• My blurry vision made work impossible.
• My self-esteem as a man was shattered because I couldn’t perform well with my wife.

When Things Took a Turn for the Worst

I was no longer Fit to work and i was angry because i was bowrring money to pay for treatment that didn’t work.

The major decision to seek a lasting solution happened when I was told that the injury on my leg will result in amputation if the diabetes worsens

I thought, How will I survive? How will I provide for my family?
